Brooklyn-based, grit-pop band Black Taxi makes its official music video debut. I've never danced to hard as I have at their concerts, the next of which is a booze-cruise on August 4th in NYC. Check 'em out - they put on a killer live show.

International Spotlight - "Quiet Little Voices" by We Were Promised Jetpacks
These young Scottish kids really know their shit. Truly a refreshing divergence from American pop/rock, We Were Promised Jetpacks share a label with Frightened Rabbit after a record exec listened to their tracks on MySpace. They even played their first gig in a bar while they were all under the legal drinking age. I think its fair to say they have a long way to go, but I'm looking forward to seeing the maturation process.
Just even try not to tap your foot to this catchy tune. Love the vid, too.

Shuffle Song - "Tightrope" by Janelle Monae
I love this video. I love this song. There is nothing else to say. I wish more artists were like Janelle Monae.

New Favorites - "026" TGTB
Self-defined as a "new world surf/flamenco" band, The Good The Bad lack a lead singer because they felt that none of the people they met with were able to "stand behind the drummer" with their vocals. Fair enough. They are possibly so good that they don't even need a vocalist. You be the judge.
